The actress will perform as Russian teenager Lana in Finding t.A.T.u , a movie based on a novel, about two girls who fall in love at a t.A.T.u concert. t.A.T.u. were a fake lesbian Russian pop duo who generated controversy with single All The Things She Said in 2003. The film is scheduled for next year. Mischa, 21, has performed a lesbian before.

Mischa Barton has been tapped to star in a new thriller titled 'Walled In' reports Variety. The psychological film is based on the French best-seller ‘Les Emmeures' and revolves around a demolition company employee (Barton) who deals with the razing of a building and finds out that it has mysterious secrets. Filming is to begin on 22 October in Saskatchewan, Canada.
